Bedford Get Together is proud to sponsor a mural on the north-facing wall of the Radford and Wandrei, PC building overlooking Centertown Park. The subject of the mural has evolved from an initial inspiration based on a Normandy Beach image to an effort to recognize the contributions of those largely overlooked by history - African-Americans, women, those who serve our country in other ways. We want to recognize the intricate connections among the people of Bedford through War, service and devotion to community and country over time. This mural is an intimate expression of appreciation, embedded in this place, this community. The mural will define the park space, recognizing shared service and sacrifice and reflecting the best of Bedford. See photos of mural below.
Thanks to the generous donations of many we have obtained sufficient funds to complete the Centertown Mural. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated.
