MAIN STAGE
Bedford native Jonathan Hayden aka DJ Showtime will be DJ and emcee on the Main Stage at the Get Together. Hayden travels throughout the east coast providing music at colleges, clubs, and private events. He is also well known locally, having just recently DJed at Liberty High School’s Homecoming and Bedford Centerfest. The main stage at the Bedford Get Together will also include live music from local acts Ken & Alli, and Catherine Backus. |
OUR BEDFORD STORY
Central to the Bedford Get Together will be a story collection project called “Our Bedford Story” which invites attendees to share how the Bedford community has formed their understanding of shared values. Building on the idea that there is more that unites our community than separates us, the project invites residents of Bedford to share stories about how our families and our community have shaped our understanding of important and shared values. These recorded stories will be presented at future events and will be archived at the Bedford Museum and Genealogical Library. |
During the Bedford Get Together, the field at Edmund Street Park will be divided into values group areas. In each area, individuals and organizations whose mission expresses those values will be offering interactive activities for all ages. Some of the activities are on-going and some are offered at particular times. See the list of scheduled activities at the bottom of this page.
